This is my first story by author Madelyn Hill, and I immensely enjoyed it. Mended Promises will surely entertain any lover of romance! Madelyn Hill does an excellent job of describing the setting of New Orleans, and she makes the reader feel like they are truly part of this wonderful story! I'll definitely be looking for more work by this author, and she is sure to become a well-known name among readers and authors alike!

An elegant love story featuring an elegant couple—Mended Promises by Madelyn Hill is a touching story of two lovers reunited. Camille and Jake Dillon are suffering from broken hearts and shattered promises. With their marriage on death row, they find themselves the victims of a mysterious and secret plot. Someone has sent them both to the same hotel in New Orleans. In this well-drawn and steamy setting, the sensual tension between the two is undeniably hot. Ms. Hill's tale is enticing and captivating. Her details capture your attention
and keep you wondering if the characters come together. Jake Dillion was a
self-absorbed businessman. He realizes a little too late that the best
part of his life was his wife. Camille La Duc Dillion has filed for legal
separation, due to her husbands neglect. Her family owns a jewelry design
company in Paris. Jake and Camille receive mysterious accommodations in
New Orleans. They do not know the other will be there let alone in the same
suite. They were in New Orleans years early on their honeymoon. Can they
recapture the flame in their romance or will it be too late to save their
perfect love.
Ms. Hill has written a great tale of love gone incredibly wrong. You continue to
read to see if they receive a second chance at love. This is a definite keeper.
I look forward to more books by this author.

Mended Promises is an extremely fabulous story. Sweet and tender, this reviewer would recommend this book to anyone in the mood for a heart-warming story. With the wonderfully sweet heroine and the fabulous hero, Madelyn Hill outdid herself on this splendidly written, magnificent novella.

Mended Promises is a lighthearted read with twists that some marriages
withstand in a lifetime. You will relate to the characters’ way of thinking and
determination. It is a must read for a relaxing true love story.
